    Hello,

How many white and amber flashes occur? Depending on the number of flashes and their length, it can mean different errors within your device. If you could record a video and upload it here, that would help even more.

I hope to hear back from you.

    Welcome LTamber,

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Since the power indicator and charging light are repeatedly flashing and the laptop does not appear to reach the HP or Windows startup screen, I’d like to narrow down the issue first.

    • Disconnect all external devices from the laptop, including USB devices, external monitors, SD cards, and other accessories. Microsoft recommends disconnecting peripherals when troubleshooting a computer that will not start.
    • With the laptop disconnected from the charger, press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds. Then reconnect the charger and try turning it on again.
    • Please check whether you see anything at all on the display, such as the HP logo, a BIOS screen, or an error message.

    Also, could you confirm:

    • Did anything happen shortly before this started, such as an update, power interruption, drop, or hardware change?
    • Does the laptop ever remain powered on long enough to show the HP logo?

    Looking forward to your update.
