    Hello @GILANG RAHMAT PANE,

Good day! I hope you are doing well.

To help better understand the issue and provide the most appropriate troubleshooting steps, could you please share a few more details about your environment?

    • When you click your account, does nothing happen at all, or do you receive any error message?
    • Are you able to sign in successfully through Teams on the web (https://teams.microsoft.com)?
    • Does this issue only occur with Microsoft Teams, or are you experiencing similar sign-in issues with other Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, or other Microsoft 365 apps?
    • Have there been any recent changes to your device, such as Windows updates, application updates, or security software changes?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

This additional information will help us understand your environment and avoid repeating steps you may have already performed.

As initial troubleshooting, please try the following:

    • Completely close Microsoft Teams by right-clicking the Teams icon in the system tray and selecting Quit Teams.

    • Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Teams.
    • Select Advanced options, then click Repair.

    • Launch Teams again and test signing in.
    • If the issue persists, return to Advanced options and select Reset.
    • Try signing in through the Teams web app to determine whether the issue is specific to the desktop client.

If the problem continues after these steps, please try clearing the Teams cache files:

    • After Quitting Teams completely, press Windows + R
    • Type: %userprofile%\appdata\local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Microsoft\MSTeams
    • Press Enter or click the OK button

    • Delete all files and folders in the directory.
    • Restart Teams and test the behavior.

Please also let me know the result after you try these steps. Looking forward to your response so we can get this sorted out together.

    Kind regards.

Repair the Microsoft Teams app in Windows 11, and if Repair does not restore the account-selection button, reset the app to clear its local state.

    Repair or reset Teams

    1. Fully close Teams:
      • Right-click the Teams icon in the notification area near the clock.
      • Select Quit.
    2. Open Start → Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
    3. Find Microsoft Teams (work or school).
    4. Select the three dots (…) → Advanced options.
    5. Select Repair.
    6. Open Teams and select the account again.
    7. If it remains unresponsive, return to the same page and select Reset, then reopen Teams and sign in.

Windows recommends trying Repair first and Reset if Repair does not resolve the app problem.^1^ This also matches a reported Windows 11 student-account case where clicking the account in Teams did nothing.^2^

Determine whether the problem is the app or school account

After resetting, open the Teams website and sign in with the same Microsoft 365 school account. Teams supports signing in through either the Windows application or the web.^3^

    • Web sign-in works: The account is accessible, and the issue is limited to the Windows client. Use Teams on the web temporarily. If resetting did not help, uninstall Teams from Settings → Apps → Installed apps, restart Windows, and reinstall Teams.
    • Web sign-in also fails: Record the complete error message or status code and contact your school’s IT administrator. Microsoft notes that organization account, domain, authentication-policy, and licensing issues may require administrator action.^4^

If Teams displays a status code in the lower-left corner, include that code when contacting the administrator. For example, 0xCAA20004 requires an administrator to review Microsoft Entra ID policies, while several 0xCAA7... or 0xCAA82... codes indicate network, proxy, firewall, or name-resolution problems.^4^
