    Hello,

If the meeting with UP Adjudicators was recorded in Microsoft Teams, you can try the following:

Open Microsoft Teams and select Calendar.

    Locate the meeting you attended.

Open the meeting and select Recap.

If a recording is available, select Play.

Alternatively, go to Chat, open the meeting conversation, and check the Shared tab for the recording.

If you cannot find it, you will need to contact the meeting organizer and ask them to share the recording with you. If you attended as an external participant, the organizer must grant you access.

    Dear @Humphrey Sekati,

    I hope you’re having a good day

If the meeting was recorded, there are several places where you may be able to access the recording depending on how the meeting was organized:

    1. Check the meeting chat

    • Open Microsoft Teams > Go to Chat.
    • Find the chat for the meeting with UP Adjudicators.
    • If a recording was created and shared with participants, you should see a recording link in the chat conversation. User's image

    2. Check the meeting invitation in Teams Calendar

    • Open Calendar in Teams.
    • Locate the meeting.
    • Open the meeting details.
    • Look for a Recording or Recap tab, which may contain the recording, transcript, and meeting content if available. User's image

    3. If you were the organizer or the person who started the recording

Teams recordings are typically stored in:

    • OneDrive (for regular meetings).
    • SharePoint (for channel meetings).

You may wish to check your OneDrive Recordings folder or the SharePoint site associated with the Team/channel where the meeting was held.

    4. If you were an attendee

Access depends on the permissions granted by the recording owner. Even if the recording exists, you may not be able to view it if it has not been shared with you.

    In that case, please contact:

    • The meeting organizer, or
    • The person who started the recording,

and ask them to provide access to the recording.

    5. If you cannot find the recording anywhere

    It is possible that:

    • The meeting was not recorded.
    • The recording has been deleted.
    • Your organization's retention policy has removed the recording.
    • You do not currently have permission to view it.

I hope this information helps point you in the right direction. If you run into any issues while trying the steps, or if something still doesn’t feel quite right, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I’ll do my best to support you however I can.

Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.

    Warm regards,

Open the UP Adjudicators meeting chat in Teams and select Shared to play the recording; if it is unavailable or access is denied, ask the meeting organizer to share the recording directly with your account.

    Find the recording

Try either location while signed in with the account that received the meeting invitation:

    1. Teams → Chat.
    2. Open the UP Adjudicators meeting chat.
    3. Select Shared.
    4. Select the recording, then Play.

    Alternatively:

    1. Go to Teams → Calendar.
    2. Open the past meeting.
    3. Select Recap.
    4. Select Play on the recording. ^1^

If this was a channel meeting, go to the relevant team and channel, select Files, and open the Recordings folder. Teams for Education recordings also appear in the meeting chat or channel conversation. ^2^

If access is denied or no recording appears

Contact the meeting organizer and ask them to:

    1. Open Teams → Chat → UP Adjudicators meeting → Shared.
    2. Point to the recording and select More options → Copy link.
    3. In the link dialog, select Settings and grant your school or work account viewing access.
    4. Send you the link.

Guests and external attendees require a direct recording link. For a normal non-channel meeting, the file is stored in the organizer’s OneDrive Recordings folder; channel recordings are stored in the channel’s SharePoint site. ^1^ ^3^

If the recording expired, the organizer should check the OneDrive or SharePoint recycle bin promptly. Once it has been removed from the recycle bin, it cannot be restored. Only the meeting organizer can download the recording through Teams. ^1^
