Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the same Microsoft account connected to your Learning Tree course, then check the Achievements and Credentials sections of your Learn profile directly instead of relying on the “MS Badge” link.
Access the badge directly
- Open your Microsoft Learn profile and sign in.
- Select your profile icon in the upper-right corner, then select Profile.
- Check:
- Achievements for a badge earned by completing a Microsoft Learn module.
- Credentials for a certification or Applied Skills credential earned through an assessment or exam.
- Transcript to check whether the completed training was recorded.
Microsoft distinguishes module-completion Achievements from assessment- or exam-based Credentials; completing a learning path normally produces an achievement trophy rather than a certification credential.^1^
If the badge is not in that profile
The most likely account-related issue is that Learning Tree opened Microsoft Learn under a different personal, work, or school account.
- Sign out of Microsoft Learn.
- Sign back in using any other account that may have been used when registering for or completing the course.
- Check Achievements, Credentials, and Transcript again.
- When the correct profile is found, add the account you normally use:
- Profile icon → Settings
- Account Management → Add Login account
- Sign in with the additional account.
Adding an account already associated with another Learn profile triggers a profile merge, combining learning progress, credentials, and transcripts. A merge cannot be undone, so verify both profiles before proceeding.^2^
Determine who should correct the link
Because “Click here for MS Badge” is displayed inside the protected Learning Tree portal, Learning Tree controls that portal link. Sign in to My Learning Tree with the email used for course registration and retry it from the completed course record.
Then use the matching escalation:
- The Learning Tree link is broken, points to the wrong Microsoft page, or no Microsoft badge was promised: contact Learning Tree support and provide the course title, completion date, screenshot, and registration email. Ask them to confirm whether the course awards a Microsoft Learn achievement, a Microsoft credential, or only a Learning Tree completion record.
- Microsoft Learn shows the completed activity but the expected Microsoft-issued credential remains absent: submit a Microsoft Credentials Support request. Select Learning → Microsoft Credentials → the closest issue category → Professional No Charge → Email. Include your Learn username and screenshots.^3^
- The account itself cannot sign in: use Microsoft’s guided Sign-in Helper.^4^
Do not post account identifiers, email addresses, or screenshots containing personal information in the public Q&A thread.
