Error Code: Podzol when logging into Minecraft Switch 2

I am trying to log in to Microsoft on Minecraft for Switch 2 and it keeps returning Error Code: Podzol whenever I attempt. I have already looked online for all the fixes of this issue, tried them all, and none of them have worked (deleting caches, deleting account sign-up data, restarting the console, reinstalling the game, syncing the date and time, resetting Microsoft password). I have contacted Minecraft's support line and they say they cannot help as it is a Microsoft account related issue.

I am having a similar issue. Did this start after buying the upgrade pack for the physical edition of minecraft switch 1? If so then it's maybe an issue relating to that. I've seen multiple people have the same issue, always relating to the switch 2. I've also tried all fixes suggested online but nothing works.
