A Bing service that gives you enhanced search details from billions of web documents.
Reduce the browser’s page zoom when using Bing in a narrow window; Bing does not document a setting that automatically scales the entire page to every window width.
Adjust the page size
In Microsoft Edge:
- Open the Bing page.
- Press Ctrl+0 to reset zoom to 100%.
- If the page still requires horizontal scrolling, press Ctrl+- repeatedly until it fits.
- Alternatively, select Settings and more (…) → Zoom → −.
On macOS, use Command+0 to reset and Command+- to zoom out. Edge officially supports these page-zoom controls.^1^
To retain a smaller default:
- Open Edge → Settings and more (…) → Settings → Accessibility.
- Under Visibility, change Page zoom.
- Use Zoom levels if you want to manage a site-specific saved zoom level.^1^
Bing’s documented display settings cover Light, Dark, and System default under Settings and Quick Links → Appearance; they do not include a page-reflow or “fit to window” option.^2^
If Bing behaves differently from other sites
An extension may be changing the page’s appearance:
- In Edge, select the Extensions puzzle-piece icon.
- Select Manage extensions.
- Disable appearance-changing, ad-blocking, or privacy extensions one at a time.
- Reload Bing after each change.
Microsoft recommends this process when an extension causes website-appearance problems.^3^
If horizontal scrolling remains at 100% zoom with extensions disabled, it is likely a Bing page-layout limitation at that window width rather than an option exposed by the browser. Submit the screenshot through the Feedback link at the bottom of the Bing page; Microsoft identifies that as the route for reporting Bing issues.^4^
The Bing Search API does not control the layout of the Bing consumer website, so changing API settings will not affect this behavior.
