It looks like I have two subscriptions to Microsoft 365. One due and paid Oct 2026 and another due to be paid Dec. 25, 2026.

Sign in to Services & subscriptions with the Microsoft account used for the purchase, compare the plan names and date labels, and turn off recurring billing for the subscription you do not want.

Check whether there are actually two subscriptions

    1. Open the Microsoft account subscriptions page and sign in.
    2. Record each Microsoft 365 entry’s:
      • Plan name, such as Basic, Personal, or Family
      • Microsoft account used
      • Whether the date says Renews on, Next charge, or Expires on
      • Payment method and Manage options
    3. Repeat this with any other Microsoft account you use. A subscription missing from one account may be attached to another account.
    4. Check Order history, adjust the date range, and open each order’s details to identify what was paid.

A renewal date means recurring billing is enabled; an expiry date means the subscription is already scheduled to end. Different October and December dates can therefore represent two subscriptions, but they could also represent one active subscription and one that will expire. Stop the unwanted subscription from renewing

After determining which plan you want to retain:

    1. On Services & subscriptions, locate the unwanted plan.
    2. Select Manage.
    3. Select Turn off recurring billing.
    4. Complete the prompts.

You can continue using that subscription until its displayed expiration date, but it will not bill you again. If the page shows Turn on recurring billing, renewal is already disabled and no further action is necessary. Before cancelling, check whether that plan provides storage or Family sharing you still need.

    If you want a refund

For a subscription purchased directly from Microsoft:

    1. Sign in with the purchasing account.
    2. Go to Services & subscriptions.
    3. Select the unwanted subscription, then Manage followed by Cancel.
    4. The cancellation process will automatically indicate whether the charge qualifies for a refund.

Not every cancellation produces a refund. If no refund is issued, access normally continues through the current paid period. [^3^](https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/[Subscription ID] "Microsoft subscription refund policy | Microsoft Support")

If Manage, Cancel, or payment controls are missing, the subscription may have been purchased through Apple, Google, Amazon, or another retailer. In that case, cancellation and refund requests must be handled by that provider rather than Microsoft.
