hello,

after some exchange migrations from 2010-2013-2016 and now 2019 we got 156 Healthmailboxes in Exchange.

Is there a way to delete all and let 2019 (current plattform) recreate the healthmailboxes currently we got a 2 node Exchange 2019 dag with 10 mailbox databases.

regards

You can try deleting the health mailboxes via ADUC:

    1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers, go to the View Menu and ensure that Advanced Features is selected.
    2. Expand "Microsoft Exchange System Objects"
    3. Click on the Monitoring mailboxes Folder, highlight all the healthmailboxes in the right pane and delete them:

Restart the Exchange Health Manager Service on each server to recreate the health mailboxes.

You can delete them all with powershell:
    Get-Mailbox -Monitoring | Remove-Mailbox

Make sure you also read this and give the necessary permissions so the AD objects are removed:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/administration/remove-mailboxdatabase-cannot-remove-health-mailboxes

Otherwise, remove the AD objects manually

Then restart the Microsoft Exchange Health Manager, MSExchangeHM service on each 2019 server to recreate them.
