The new decision will supports those devices which are stable and more secure and following certain design principles. However, you may open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and share your concern.
Microsoft shared the following weblog to explain why they change the requirement:

Windows 11 update on Ryzen5 processor
Hello,
Wanted to upgrade to Windows 11 but the PC Health app tells me that my processor (Ryzen 5 2500U with Vega Mobile GFX) is not compatible.
I have seen some less performant processors in the list and I wanted to ask why is it considered not compatible.
Is there a timeline of when will it be tested and the potential problems solved?
Thank you for your support and looking forward to upgrading to Win11.

The main reason for most of the "powerful" processors left aside from the compatibility grade are architecture security concerns. Something that Microsoft have put as topmost priority into Windows 11.
In the case of Ryzen 5 2500U, it is because a legacy architecture, even if by the name of series may seem as a second generation, this model uses still the Zen1 architecture.
You can still go ahead and install, following the next guide, but Microsoft can't guarantee all levels of functionality either security compliance.
