Hello Community,

I want to know if there is a way where specific users of sharepoint can be notified, when other users have made specific changes within a excel file shared at sharepoint ?

    Yes, just use "Alert Me" from the context menu of that excel sheet. If you an admin of the site, you can add other users in the next form.

    Hi @Emil Møller ,

    Aside from the "Alert me" feature in SharePoint, you could set up Power Automate to create a flow to send Notifications.

    The logic would be like this: when the file is modified, send an email to the user. Please refer to the below picture:

    I'm not seeing the areas referenced above.

    How do I get to this screen for alerting if something is changed.

    Sorry I'm a little new to SP but still learning.
