Lost hardened SSID's

Here's the situation: 1 wifi router in office, 1 wifi router in house, 5 wifi range extenders in bunkhouse & barns. We are trying to "harden" our wifi visibility -- we've been hacked. I changed the SSID & passwords on 4 range extenders. Now noone can see the range extenders either at the "taskbar network icon" list or "netsh wlan show profiles" but they DO show up in "netsh wlan show networks". 1 range extender shows up everywhere as "Hidden Network"; everyone can connect to this network with the right password.

I have 2 problems 1) how do I get the new SSID's on all the laptops or 2) if I restore the original SSID name & hide them, how do we know which password goes with which "Hidden Network"

NB: all PC's (pro) & laptops (home) are using Win10 ver:21H1 build: 19043.1320. All routers & range extenders are Netgear MR1100 & EX6200v2

    Hello @Robert Mitchell ,

In this particular case I would recommend you to open your inquire to the manufacturer forums (Netgear) as their community and product support for sure would be more experienced to help you with this specific configuration and network hardware set up.

As always if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
