Hololens 2 Not able to scan QR code on Fologram app

I have used the HL2 to scan a AR code on the fologram plugin in Rhino to connect it to grasshopper. It worked initially. After a few days, i had connected Ethernet to my laptop to do something. It is after this that the HL2 stopped scanning the QR code. I checked if there was an issue with the fologram plugin or the QR code. It seems that I am able to scan that same QR code with my phone. Ive tried playing with multiple different lighting conditions in the room and used a hard copy to scan it in HL2 etc.... but no luck. I really wonder what the issue is?!
