In DNS Manager only able to see the NS records for forward lookup zone

I'm one of the DNSAdmins for our org and the host I use to manage DNS stopped displaying records except the NS records for our forward lookup zones. IT is claiming nothing has changed. The system is part of the domain but not one of the DC's. I add the DC's to the DNS manager on this host and have managed them for years this way. Just recently all the records disappeared other than the ones mentioned. Logging into another host configured similiarly that another team manages is working fine and all the records are displaying properly there. Is there some IP whitelisting of hosts that are allowed to manage DNS that could have had my host removed from it to cause this? The behaviour was very unsettling and caused a bit of panic on our team as it appeared the zone was purged. Luckily that's not the case. Even after removing the host and re-adding it to the domain the behaviour persists. We also removed all the DC's from DNS manager and re-added them with no change. Right now I'm having to piggy back on other teams host to manage our DNS there instead.
