Hello everyone!
I am new to using SharePoint online and am hoping there is a very easy solution to my question.
We have several different machines which each have hundreds of components to them. I have been tasked with moving 1 document and several pictures for each of these components onto a SP page. If I use a document library, I am not able to make the image gallery display only that component's pictures. I also know how to upload a document and an image gallery using web parts, however, my concern is that by doing this I would have to create an entirely separate page for every component (unless I wanted to have an extremely long page that shows each component with its associated document and images).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to best go about this?

Based on your description, I understand that you want to display several documents and pictures on the same page.
As far as I know, display several documents and pictures on the same page through document library and image gallery web parts is the most convenient way.

If I were to use a document library I would have about 50 folders all labeled as different machine components. Then when I click on Component #1 I would want to see a document and 5 related images. But if I clicked on the folder for Component #2 it would take me to a different document and set of 8 related images.
The way I tried to do it like this before I could not get the image gallery to show only the images for the one component, and instead it showed all the hundreds of pictures of every single component.
Based on your description, I understand that you want to display pictures in a specific folder.
You could use highlighted content web part as following picture shows.
