PowerPoint 2019's Slide Show not working

Hi, so I'm currently doing a presentation project and for some reason my PowerPoint won't let me use the Slide Show feature. So in details, when i click on the Slide Show button (either the lower right one, from the Ribbon, or F5) the cursor will be in loading state for a moment, and that's it. It stays in normal view mode. Just like this: 145195-image.png
It happens on all my .ppt files so I assume it is caused by the software itself perhaps, and the fact that I can slide show just fine in Google Slides. I'm using Lenovo Legion 5 15IMH05 if that helps. Thank you so much!

    Please try to go to Slide Show tab > Setup Slide Show > Ensuer Primary Monitor is selected as following image.

    And then, I suggest you press Win key 145277-capture3.jpg and P key at the same time, click on the PC screen only.

    Maybe you could also try to unplug the power cord if your machine is one laptop, to check whether this issue is related to the working mode of your graphics cards.
