One of my servers is failing to load the "Microsoft Azure Backup" window in mmc.exe

  1. When I open Microsoft Azure Backup - plugin loads - completes steps 1,2, and 3 then displays the error CBSnapIn.dll - "MMC has detected an error in a snap-in and will unload it."
  2. When I click unload the plugin and continue running, I get multiple lines of error message including
    "FX:{84AF3E24-7EE9-44C9-8007-3B5093D6D208}"
    Type is not resolved for member 'Microsoft.Internal.EnterpriseStorage.Dls.Utils.DlsException,CloudUtils, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'.
    Exception type: System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException
    Exception stack trace:
    at Microsoft.ManagementConsole.Internal.IMessageClient.ProcessRequest(Request request)
    at Microsoft.ManagementConsole.Executive.RequestStatus.BeginRequest(IMessageClient messageClient, RequestInfo requestInfo)
    at Microsoft.ManagementConsole.Executive.SnapInRequestOperation.ProcessRequest()
    at Microsoft.ManagementConsole.Executive.Operation.OnThreadTransfer(SimpleOperationCallback callback)

I have tried

  1. Updating the Azure Backup Server to the latest version
  2. Removing + Reinstalling the Azure Backup Server
  3. Restarting the server then Reinstalling Azure Backup Server to a new location

What do we need to do to get Microsoft Azure backups working?
