How to add a file to TFS via Visual Studio

Question

From TFS I checked out a folder via Visual Studio 2019 and Source Control Explorer.
Now I add locally a new documentation (excel file) to this folder.
Now I want to check in this document.
But it is not listed under Pending Changes.
How can I add it there or how can I check it in?

Solution:

1. open Visual Studio / Source Control Explorer
2. search the folder, where you want to add files
3. right click on the folder
4. choose "Add Items to Folder"
5. browse for your file and add it
