Windows 11 In place upgrade switching on focus assist by default

Hello,

We are having an odd issue with Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 11 Enterprise in place upgrades. For some reason focus assist switches on by default on all accounts. This means outlook notifications etc are suppressed. I have tried the group policy to disable it but this doesnt appear to do anything on windows 11 anymore. Some old windows 10 utlities to toggle it dont work either but are fine on the latest windows 10 build.

Just wondering if anyone else is having an issue and if there is a way to disable it across the board?

Thanks

    Hello RossMcLeod-2305,

    Thank you for your question.

Sometimes this happens because of an internal windows bug that pretends you don't need important notifications, but I understand that this must be bothersome for you.

I recommend that you look forward to an update soon which should help fix this.

Also, I recommend that you post your question on the windows 11 forum as well, because sometimes you might already have some open discussion about it and it can help solve the problem faster.

To do this, access the link below and select the option "Ask a question" from the top menu and then describe the entire problem, including images:
