office online server upgrade

Hi,

we have Exchange 2016 and office online server 16.0.xx (not the latest version) on Windows server 2012 R2.
We are migrating to Exchange 2019 and would like to upgrade OOS to latest version on Windows 2019 Server.
What i correct path?
Can i:

1. Install OOS on windows 2019 server
2. add to existing farm
3. remove old OOS from the farm

or i have to install oos on server 2019, create new farm, delete old farm?

1 You could Install OOS on Windows 2019 Server. The reference is "Prepare servers to run Office Online Server".

Compare with 2 & 3, I would suggest you install OOS on server 2019, create a new farm, then after the test is no problem, you could delete old farm.
