Im using linux beta on a chromebook (I have no experience with linux) and am using visual studio code. When I try run a simple python string of code (print("this is file 1")) it tells me this in the output section instead of the terminal.

... I have no clue why, I learnt on the internet that its supposed to run the code in the terminal which it doesn't do. any ideas?
