Syncing Android in CODD with Intune

I setup Intune a few months ago, and have about 70 Android devices enrolled using the CODD (Corporate Owned Dedicated Device) enrolment profile. I noticed today that about 20 of them are showing the Last Check-In as back in September! They are all the same make & model of tablet on the same O/S etc.

I have checked with the end user that the device is online, which it is (they are able to access the Internet etc.) I asked them to reboot, and also perform a Sync from the Intune app which they have done, but it hasn't updated the last Check-in time, nor can I carry out a reboot from Intune.

If I go to the device in Intune, the device configurations is showing as "Pending". There's no way I can see to perform a Sync from Intune (the option to Sync from the Device Overview page seems to be missing for CODD devices).

Anyone know what's going on, and what I can do to sync please?
