PC Health Check says my Intel Core i7-6500U CPU 2.50GHz isn't supported

PC Health Check says my Intel Core i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz isn't supported. However, it is on the list of supported processors.

So, now what?

I have Windows 10 Pro. Could that be the problem? I don't see how as PC Health Check specifically says it's my processor that's the problem.

    Hello @Stephanie Dears

The Intel i7-6500U is not part or the compatible list: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors

However there are some alternatives if you want to install Windows 11, but be aware of the disclaimers included in the article:

Hope this helps with your query,

@Castorix31 is correct, your processor is not supported.

You can manually install Windows 11 by following the advice in this article:

    https://www.theverge.com/22715331/how-to-install-windows-11-unsupported-cpu-intel-amd-registry-regedit

It is at your own risk though, as mentioned in this Microsoft article:

So, the pages I accessed through Microsoft.com are a figment of my imagination?
