why i can connect with FQDN but not IP address?

I have Windows server 2012 as a DC, and 50 clients everything works fine but sometimes, some clients can't connect to file server with IP address, but with FQDN. also sometimes i can't connect to a remote desktop with IP address but it works with FQDN. this is not a persistent problem but every day it happens to some clients. nothing is changed on DNS...

    Hi ,

    Before going further, I would appreciate your help in clarifying the following situations:

    Please first run "nslookup" and type in the server FQDN. Then check the IP address what you get back is correct. It would be helpful for us to identify the problem if you could upload the results.

    What's the error message when you can't connect to file server with IP address ? Please post the detailed error message for us to troubleshooting.

    Could you ping the server IP address when you can't connect to file server with IP address ? If you can ping the server IP successfully, this is might not be a network problem.
