I need to write some SSRS reports with Visual Studio 2019. I came across this post here [how to create new ssrs report with visual studio 2019][1]. However, it doesn't answer some of the issues I'm running into.

On the page I linked to, it refers to downloading SSDT for VS 2019. I went to the linked to website. It referenced another page which informed me that I need to install the relevant parts in the Visual Studio Installer. I've checked and I've already got the SQL Server Data Tools under Data Storage and processing checked. So, I thought I'd be good to go.

However, when I went into the Extension Manager in VS 2019, it didn't show anything there for SSRS. So, I'm lost as to what I've done wrong, when it appears as though I've done everything correctly.

    Hi, @Rod At Work

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Do you mean the Microsoft Reporting Services Projects extension? You can enter Microsoft Reporting Services Projects in the search bar of "Manage Extensions" and download the extension.
