I don't how to resolve this problem. The following screenshot is a part of exception log.

Hi @Eally ，
What version of SSRS are you installing? Could you describe your installation environment?
I suggest you also check the Windows Event Viewer to see if the problem occurs in the AD group permissions.

Hi @Joyzhao-MSFT ,
I am installing SSRS 2019, and SQL Server 2019 has been installed.
I logon domain user, and set the password for this user should never expire and this user is restricted to change password. It is member of Administrator, Schema Admins, Enterprise Admins, Domain Users, SQLServerMSASUser$CRM$CRMDB now.
I guess any wrong with domain user configuration but donot understand what or where. Could you please help me?

I also checked hardware but no matter.

Thanks for your quick response.
Could you share your Event Viewer log? Just hit Start, type “Event Viewer” into the search box, and then click the result. Try to find relevant error information. I think the comprehensive error information will be more conducive to resolving the issue.

According to your screen shot

You are installing SSRS in a domain controller. For security reasons, we recommend that you do not install SSRS on a domain controller, you will meet follow limitation if you do so:

You cannot run SQL Server services on a domain controller under a local service account.

After SQL Server is installed on a computer, you cannot change the computer from a domain member to a domain controller. You must uninstall SQL Server before you change the host computer to a domain controller.

After SQL Server is installed on a computer, you cannot change the computer from a domain controller to a domain member. You must uninstall SQL Server before you change the host computer to a domain member.

SQL Server failover cluster instances are not supported where cluster nodes are domain controllers.

SQL Server is not supported on a read-only domain controller. SQL Server Setup cannot create security groups or provision SQL Server service accounts on a read-only domain controller. In this scenario, Setup will fail.

It may be caused by domain controller promotion. To resolve this, I should remove AD role, right?

Thanks for your reply. So you indeed want to install SSRS 2019 in Domain controller, I am sorry to say that SSRS 2017and SSRS 2019 are Not Supported on a Domain Controller. To resolve this, you may need to install SSRS 2019 in another machine which is not a domain controller, or like you said remove AD role, make it a none domain controller box.

Hi @Eally ,
You could try to install SSRS after removing the AD role, and then reinstall the AD role. Here is a similar case for your reference:SSRS 2019 setup fails on Windows Server 2016.
