SharePoint ViewInFileExplorerEnabled Availability

Question

Is there any set schedule for rolling out View in File Explorer for Edge? This page (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/sharepoint-view-in-edge) indicates Microsoft has decided to continue supporting this critical functionality after Internet Explorer has disappeared. The page instructs a tenant administrator to run the following command:
Set-SPOTenant -ViewInFileExplorerEnabled $true
to enable the function. It is set to $False by default. However, running the command in my tenant yields the following message:
Set-SPOTenant : The requested operation is part of an experimental feature that is not supported in the current environment.
If I run Get-SPOTenant it displays the value for that option as False
The page referenced above states "You may receive this error if this functionality is not supported in your current environment. We are still rolling out functionality to all Production environments and will update this article once worldwide rollout has been completed."
Is there any ETA on when this will be available? Is there a way to request it be made available for our tenant?

I have an update. This is working fine on Windows 10 computers using Edge. However, it does not work on Windows 11 using Edge. The option to View in File Explorer is present, but clicking it does nothing on my Windows 11 computer. On my Windows 11 computer, the registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge does not exist. I confirmed the computer is applying the GP settings. I exported the key from a functional computer and imported it into the registry on my Windows 11 computer. View in File Explorer still does not work. How do I allow this critical functionality moving forward? It seems odd Microsoft would make this function work in Edge only for Windows 10.
