mail enabled security group

Hi All

i am using exchange 2016 hybrid env, i have a mail enabled security group in Exchange onprem and it has 22000 members added to it. i have placed restriction on the mail enabled security group i.e only few users can send emails to it. As the security group contains 22000 members ,will the user who has permission to send email to this mail enabled security group, can he send the email since it has 22000 members as there are limitations from Microsoft. Also when email is sent i dont want end users to reply to that email how do i control that.

If this sender located on Exchange on-premises, you could change the value of -RecipientRateLimit in Throttling Policy to control it.

If this sender located on Exchange online, you will cannot change it, here are limited on Exchange online send and receive.

About block reply, you could try with "Azure Information Protection(For Exchange online)" or "AD RMS Policy Template Considerations(For Exchange on-premises)"
