Microsoft Office vs School Account

I have been having issues with Microsoft Office via my school log in since day one.

*I'm going to be as detailed as I can but full warning, I am not fluent in computer science.

1) Every time I used an office program I had a banner across the top that said, "UPLOAD BLOCKED".

2) I signed out of my account to trouble shoot, and when signed back in it informs me I have two accounts with the same email (one personal and one created by my school).

3) I trouble shoot this by going to accounts managed and deleting and replacing the personal account with a new email.

4) I sign back in using my school log in and the banner has changed to "UPLOAD FAILED" (progress...?). I accept this fate and think that a banner across the top of my screen is a livable solution for me.

5) Now all of this honestly would not matter much to me, but recently we have been using copied hyperlink in Excel. I have no idea if my log in issues are relevant to the issues I'm now having with hyperlink. My Excel quite literally trust no links, no matter how I update them. Strangely enough, I pull the link from my hard drive files but Excel gives their address as a network..? My knowledge on this is very limited so I apologize if this query makes no sense. We have many assignments coming up that use hyperlink, and I would really appreciate some advice.
