I have laptop Dell Inspiron 7000 Series and i have problem to update windows 10 1607 to 20H2 or newest version.
Error code is 0x80004005
I have tried the following fixes,

Run sfc /scannow.

Delete system32/SoftwareDistribution folder and force a redownload of update files.

Run Trouble Shooter in Windows Update.

Use the update tool, Windows10Upgrade9252.exe

Verified that my Win10 is correctly activated.

Please for help.

    Hi there,

First make sure you have enough storage for the update , at least 8 GB in the OS drive. As it seems you have done with most of the troubleshooting methods , I would suggest you to Perform a clean install.

Back up all your personal files before this process as this will wipe clean your PC.

Please make sure you have the following:
An internet connection to download the tool and the Windows 10 image.
Sufficient available data storage on the computer you are clean installing. Note that the download and image is over 3 GB.

You can follow this link , this will guide you through all the process for clean install
