Azure Cost Alert with Action Group not calling function

Hi team,

I set-up a budget (Cost Management) with two alerts:

Alert condition -> Action Group -> Azure Function
Alert recipients (email)

When alert is raised I receive an email. Thus, alert is working. The function of the action group is never called. Same function works for other alerts.

Could it be a firewall issue? Function firewall allows access from Service Tag "ActionGroup". Which Service Tag is required for cost alerts?

Thanks! Could you please confirm on access key? When defining the Function action the Function's httptrigger endpoint and access key are saved in the action definition.
For example : https://azfunctionurl.azurewebsites.net/api/httptrigger?code=this_is_access_key.

If you change the access key for the function you will need to remove and recreate the Function action in the Action Group.

Also, You may have a limited number of Function actions in an Action Group.

Thanks alot for your answer. The function is set to "anonymous" and same Action Group works well for other alerts. I have only one Action Group in current setup. Looks like cost alerts are the only alerts not coming through.

Could you please confirm on type of Azure account you have? As the table here shows the alert features that are supported by various Microsoft offers.

I have the exact same problem. First the preview testing of Budget alerts in the action group does not work (all other test trigger types work). I set up a test budget and it got triggered at night but only received an email notification. Azure function was not triggered. There is clearly something wrong with the budget trigger.
