It's works perfectly. I don't understand why Microsoft Authenticator App is similar to device pin. They don't provide clear documentation.

Hello Leon, It would be helpful if it actually worked the way it is described, but it does not! The installation on the link you refer says how to change the pin for the particular device with Windows OS. The question (even though I was not the initial person to ask it) is "How to change the pin on microsft authenticator". And following the instructions only changed the pin for logging in the particular windows device and the pin for my authenticator continues to be the old pin, Why the... Microsoft is not providing any clue how to change the pin of the authenticator app?

Hi the app lock pin is for the device the app is on which would proberly be your phones login pin.
