Dear Sir,

Customer has a Hyper-V Windows 2016 VM Farm, he would like to setup another New VM Hyper-V farm with Windows 2019. He is planning to use Export Windows 2016 VM and Import feature to Windows 2019 VM for the migration, is it possible to do with this function easily ? Or any document / best practice to move some VM to 2019 Hyper-V farm?

Any setting need to modify / update etc,

Any suggestion.

What you proposed should be fine. You may also be able to live migrate them.
