Hi All,
I installed Visual Studio 2022 by including Dara storage and processing in the toolsets. When I start visual studio and want to create a project, I don't see the project types for analysis services. What should I do? Do I need to install other things?

Hi @CONCETTA ALLEGRA , welcome to Microsoft Q&A! Sorry about that “Microsoft Analysis Services Projects” extension is not supported in VS2022 yet, just like Nill2Bill said. You could refer to this link. It is still supported on VS2019 and VS2017, please download it from this link.

The extensions for Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services projects are not available for Visual Studio 2022 at this time.

Having connection issue from Visual Studio 2022 to Azure Analysis Services (Tabular). It is blocking me from deploying my project to Azure. Please advise.

You need to go to Extensions > Manage Extensions
Then search for "Analysis Services" and add the "Microsoft Analysis Services Project Types" extension

the extension of SSAS does not work, so why do you release this? it is better to let us know in which environment this will work, it wastes a lot of time to cycle this. if it does not work, do not release, just tell the truth.
