Hi!

I needed to have a scrollable text box on either Word or Powerpoint.

So, I have learned how to do that... But the problem is the original text has highlighted sentence...

but, when I copied and pasted the original text into the textbox I made using the developer tool, the highlights are gone and there is no other way

to highlight them back using functions in the home tab.

Is there any way to highlight the text in the scrollable text box??

    Hi @seokhoon kim

    Welcome to Q&A forum.

So far, in addition to the highlight effect after selected characters, I do not find the way to highlight the specific charactes in Text Box (ActiveX Control).

Here is a similar thread "Add Text Formatting to a 'Text Box with ActiveX Control' in word" you could have a look, especilaly the replies from CharlesKenyon (IA).
That try to use Content Control or other controls as a workaround.

    Thanks for your undersandting.
