Hi friends,my Database has two tables one table has list of databases andsecond table has list of tables of every database and I want to read the list of databases by using getmetada activity and foreach and also want to read list of tables and copy it into gen2.how many pipeline i need for this one or can i do both in single pipeline help me please

Hi @Anshal , Thank you for using Microsoft Q&A and thank you for the ask. Number of pipeline depends on the requirements. For example, the two tasks you have, if you want to run them at different time, you can create two separate pipelines for each task and schedule the trigger in different time. Otherwise. you can implement the ACTIVITIES in the same pipeline. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Thank you I am using I want to get list of databases using getmetada and foreach to iterate and where should I use lookup or getmetada to get tables and finally copy all to adls.

As you told if you have one table has list of databases and second table has list of tables of every database , you can you use look up activity to read the details ,later in side for each activity you can create dynamic dataset as source for a Copy activity copy data to ADLS . Thanks

thank you my first lookup reads the databases and I used foreach after that to pass the data and second lookup reads the tables and one more foreach like lookup to foreach ---lookup to foreach and copy my pipeline is right
