Anyone facing the same error "autopilot registering your device for mobile management failed 6,0x80180005" when trying to deploy a self driven profile?

I have tried all the information out there about TPM patching and clearing TPM. Moreover, tried to remove the naming scheme attached to that profile i.e. %SERIAL% according to some forms. Moreover, this profile is for simple Azure AD join no hybrid. I have been trying to do this over Lenovo ThinkCentre machines and each one fails. Any clues?

Does the device support TPM attestation? This is required for self-driven mode. Also, were you able to do a Autopilot enrollment before on this device? If yes, make sure you delete the old device object in Intune since this is required for Autopilot reset on self-driven Autopilot machines. Also make sure the time settings are correct and that the device can access the timeserver of Microsoft (time.windows.com).

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

1,Have you ever enrolled the devives using Autopilot self-deployment mode or pre-provisioning mode? If yes, please delete the device record in Intune, and then redeploy the profile to have a try.

2,Which type are your using this time user-driven model or self-deploying scenarios? Can we find any useful information in Event log? Please help check the following configurations:
Review configuration: Has Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Intune (or an equivalent MDM service) been configured as specified in Windows Autopilot configuration requirements?
Check network connectivity: Can the device access the services described in Windows Autopilot networking requirements?

    Best regards,
    Simon
