Tag "office-onenote-client-itpro" focuses more on general issue of OneNote desktop client, and I do not have the same devices as yours to do tests. Thanks for your understanding.
Maybe a certain driver of the device is not compatible with OneNote, which causes this issue.
Currently, I would suggest you go to Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application, please try to find the error records related to OneNote.
Then it's recommended to copy the General information to share with us.
Besides, please go to `File > Options > Advanced > Locate Pen section, ensuer "Enable automatic handwriting recognition" in unchecked.
