Files Sharing through OneDrive

Question

Hi everyone,

We are in a process to implement condition access, where only AAD joined or registered devices will be allowed to access M365 Apps.

However, for whatever reason when I share file via OneDrive outside the organisation, access is getting blocked.
When I allow access to everyone ( i.e no device restriction) it works fine.

What I am doing wrong or am I missing something, any help will be appreciated.

You'd probably want to add an exception to your CA policies. Open the policy, go to the Users and Groups condition > Exclude > All guest and external users. Or vice versa, scope the policy to only include internal users.
