17968-exchange-1.jpg17919-exchange-2.jpgHi. In Exchange 2019, the Search box is unresponsive (when it's clicked, it disappears). Also noted that the Settings icon opens the menu, but none of the menu items work. The help button is also dead. I'm on the latest version of Firefox. Any advice?

    Hi,

In Exchange 2019, Microsoft re-engineered search using Bing. The search indexes are now within the database itself. As the index data is now within the database, normal log shipping includes the database and search data in a single replication and the index is always up to date on all database copies.

I would suggest you try the following steps

    1. Check if the disks has sufficient free space available
    2. Use a different browser and see it is fine
    3. Restart the following services and try again
      "Microsoft Exchange Search"
      "Microsoft Exchange Search Host Controller"

Does the issue affect all users in your organization?
What's the detailed version of your Exchange server, you can view the build number by running the cmdlet below:

    Get-ExchangeServer | Format-List Name,Edition,AdminDisplayVersion

As per your issues, agree with Manu that it's recommended to try using different browsers like IE or Edge to narrow down the problem.
