I agree, the recent update removed this feature. Similar to the previous posters, I used this a lot in teaching. The current workflow is much more cumbersome, please re-add pasting images from the clipboard.

Before the recent 'upgrade', I was able to copy images using the Snipping tool and paste them directly into Microsoft Whiteboard.
I don't seem to be able to do this with the new look Whiteboard. I am using the App version.
Can you please explain how I can now paste copied images without saving each one individually as an image.

It's a problem for online teaching - could do without having to do a workaround -

Todd L 6 Reputation points2021-11-17T22:36:31.87+00:00 I liked using the Whiteboard app in place of OneNote for teaching instruction based on the "feel", screen real estate, my hardware and other factors. Now the Whiteboard app is rendered useless if I cannot easily paste a screen snip in. Such a bummer. When the update happened, my old images were still there interestingly enough. I know there is an insert image icon, but that work around is too cumbersome while instructing.

Is it possible dowgrade it to the previous version?

That version should be back on your systems soon.
