When pushing out apps & web links to android mobiles they dont automatically show on the home screen. If we change the display settings/home screen/add apps to home screen manually on the device then on registering the device the apps & links then show.

Is there a way for Intune to configure the devices so this home screen setting is automatically on?

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Is there a way for Intune to configure the devices so this home screen setting is automatically on?
Yes, we can configure the Set allow-listed applications settings via JSON data in the Microsoft Managed Home Screen for Android Enterprise.

It will allow you to define the set of apps visible on the home screen from amongst the apps installed on the device. You can define the apps by entering the app package name of the apps that you want visible. For example, com.microsoft.emmx would make settings accessible on the home screen. The apps that you allow-list in this section should already be installed on the device to be visible on the home screen.

For more information, please refer to the official docs:

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon
