Hello all,

I am having trouble with my outlook online connection to my emails.
It happened to me a couple of days ago, requesting me to verify with a captcha that I am filling properly.

But everytime it tries to connect and I could see my mailbox for a second, than it brings me back to the verification page asking for the caracters to type again. I've been doing this for 68 times in a row.

Am lost, I've tried to look for help everywhere online, trying to get a chatbox or something.
Tried on multiple devices, computers to Iphone & with different browser such as IE, MOZILLA, Google Chrome.

Each time am back on that verification page and all the time am typing the right caracters but it does not allow me to access to my mails.

If anyone had a suggestion or some sort, pliz I beg you help me.

In order to further confirm the problem, would you mind providing information about the following questions?

Does this issue occur on Outlook for web?

And are you using an outlook.com account? If not, please tell me what kind of your account.(such as an Exchange account)

In addition, does this issue occur with other accounts? Or only with specific accounts?

I'm having the same problem with the never-ending Captcha verification look.

I'm trying to get into Outlook to see my Outlook contacts (which I created on my Windows phone) but I don't have an Outlook account per se. I have a Gmail account associated with my Microsoft account I set up for my Surface.

I just want to see and access my Outlook CONTACTS from my Windows phone, which I'll be changing. But I when I sign into Outlook with my associated Gmail account and Microsoft password, which is recognized, I then get stuck in that Captcha loop.

HELP please!

Hello there.

I am having the exact same problem for over 24 hours now. I have tried different browsers, updated my email password several times. I see my email for a second behind the captcha request and then it just sends me to an endless captcha loop. I have been doing tons of research and I see others with same problem but any suggested resolution has not worked. I have clear my cache on all browsers . I can see my email through the iphone app and its still live and working I just cant get to it from a browser.

It looks like my account was compromised Monday night and I'm wondering if it is something to do with that? Maybe some type of ransomware?

Any suggestions welcome. Tried all the obvious things.

Hello,

My issue is still on Browsers (safari, Gchrome etc…)
When using MAIL on my iphone it works well and am able to receive, reply & organize my mails.

But I can’t use it from browsers.

This issue occurs only with my hotmail.com account - my gmail is working well.

I see that I am not the only one having trouble with that F.. Captcha loop.

Have I been hacked or something?

Feel less lonely now.

Did you manage to sort this out?

Cause I still can’t, thankfully I am using mail on my Iphone & can still manage my mails but not on browsers.

Any idea if its a hack or some sort?

Looks like your issue is related to outlook for web, please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client. In order to better solve your problem, it's suggested that you could post your case in dedicated forum for Outlook.com.

Having the same issue. Multiple browsers. Multiple computers. Sign in to outlook.com takes me to https://outlook.live.com/owa/0/captchachallenge.aspx to Verify, but the Captcha image is broken. The New and Audio options bring up a Error 500. If I use a Phone or Outlook, I can access the account, but cannot send emails - which is a problem. (Get an immediate bounce back email saying that email is not permitted and to Contact my Administrator - which this is the best option that I have found.)

I have the same issue with my personal @Microsoft Corporation .com account. I tried to use multiple browsers on multiple computers and phones. When I tried to sign in to outlook.com it redirect me to https://outlook.live.com/owa/0/captchachallenge.aspx to verify, but the captcha image is absent at all. The "new" and "audio" options bring up an Error 500.

I am having exactly the same problem and cannot get to my outlook mail except I can still do it from my phone but I do not like trying to work from my phone. I also have tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Avast, etc), even downloaded Opera as well all with the same results. I have cleared cache multiple times, gotten rid of addons, disabled all extensions,, restarted mulltiple times. I have been using Hotmail/Outlook for 20 years and this is the first time I have encountered problems like this. Does this have something to do with Microsoft bundling Outlook with Office 365?

Would like some help here or I will have to quit Outlook and notify all contacts to email and contact me on GMAIL.

I have found the same issue on other MS QA portal https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/it-keeps-saying-i-have-to-verify-account-but/0d5011fe-a871-4af9-be30-39fd2244022a?page=4 and there are no answer.

But today (21 July 2022) I successfully validated my account. I reload the page via CTRL+F5 (to clear cache) and press the button "New" after that captcha image occurs and validation is passed.
