Excel Power Pivot Data Model - Custom pivot table excel

Hi all,

  • On my power pivot there is 1 table. In this table, there are 3 columns: creation_date and disbursement_date and app_id column.
  • I need to show total apps created and total apps disbursed by month. I have already created 2 measures, #APP and #APP_DISBURSAL.
  • The problem is there are some apps created in month N but disbursed in month N+1 and I need to count this app as month N+1.

    From the initial description, it appears that if an app was disbursed in the month following the month of its creation, it is counted as created in the disbursement month, not creation month. The easiest way of achieving this would be a calculated column of 'adjusted creation date', based off creation and disbursement dates, holding created date if the two months are the same, and a date from disbursement month otherwise.
