Label files outside OneDrive directory

Question

We can apply the sensitivity labels to files in OneDrive. Is there a way to auto label the files outside OneDrive directory such as any folders in C drive or Downloads folder?

If you want to do this en masse, take a look at the AIP Scanner: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/information-protection/deploy-aip-scanner
For just a handful of documents/single user, use manual labeling via the AIP client, or bulk script it via PowerShell.
