How to pick latest file from SFTP?

Hi
I get incremental files in SFTP every week. From that list I have to pick latest file. Here I am able to filter those files by giving format like 'name+year+'-'' . how do i store the date values in 'Append variable' to get latest values.

Thanks for question and welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform..Can you please let us know more as to how you have implemeneted the logic at this time . The reason I ask is even if you are able to use append variable , you will have to sort the date which can a issue as dates will be started as string . Also can you please share what is the source here .
