I am trying to change the value of a cell/range based on change in other cell
ID Shell Shop Shell Status
A Sim Test1 DONE
B Svr Test2 Not Done
C Sai Test3 NOT DONE
if any change in column "Shell" value in status should change to "Not Done"
It is working in VB but not in script

I would also like to do this - in my case if I could use an 'if' statement that didn't have an else, that would work too. Eg .. I have two Yes/No/Empty validation cells and I want to make it so if the second one has a 'Yes' value selected, the first one is reset to empty. But if the second one ='', the first one can be yes, no or ''. I could have done this in the past with VBA but now I'm limited to formulas and office script, I can't figure out how to do it.

If it's not a VBA marko, then what for a script (type) do you mean; JavaScript?

PM from the Office Scripts team here - we currently do not support the running of scripts on cell/range value changes, and this is an area we'd like to investigate further. Could you share a bit about when you run this automation in your workbook and how it's used to complete your workflow?

If we can have actions like 'if a cell value changes ' it would open up a world of opportunity for automation.
For instance :
If a cell value changes then other cell value has to changed
