Hi,

May I ask for help or advise. We have one old virtual Win SBS 2008 as DC with Exchange. We have found some bad cofiguration and have to restore it. Is it possible to restore only VHD with system and replace the current on VM? Can we let other drives with Exch databases and file shares be the same?

Thank you.

If you have the VHD you can create a new virtual machine then when you get to step Connect Virtual Hard Disk choose Use an existing and point to the 2008 VHD

Is it possible without any harm on DC and Exchange?
