Hi,
I am assisting a team with their Shipping Labels and noticed that some of the teams bios updates have In Flighted to WU however not listed in the Microsoft Update Catalog.
Most of the missing bios updates are missing the bios family name in the shipping label.
Question?
What is best practices or proper syntax for creating a bios shipping label so that it will appear in the MS Update Catalog?
Example: Does the shipping label have to contain "manufacturer + bios family"

Thank you for posting your question. Yes. Best practices recommended to the HP Bios Team is to ensure HP + bios family are included in the shipping label. If you can send me a list of impacted commercial products we can investigate further.
Do you happen to know if any of the missing bios updates in the MS Update Catalog actually completed In-Flighting? I have seen some fail prior to In Flighting due to like no sysid entered or files not selected.
