Games Freeze, show colored pixels and crash

So.. I have been having issues with my Computer since the end of September. Games would randomly Freeze, there would be green and pink pixels all over the screen and after a while the game would either close, my PC would crash or in some rare occasions the game kind of refreshes. Althought if that happens the same thing would happen again 20 seconds later.

The first thing I did was download new GPU drivers. Didn't help. Then I would download older drivers. Still didn't work. Temperatures were around 70-80 degrees (celsius obviously) in games like Warzone, on most other games I had lower temperatures. The Errors at first occured hour-wise. Sometimes i would have a few days or even a week without it. But yeah.. lately I can barely stay in a Game for longer than five minutes. They occur in pretty much every game except for Minecraft. When Warzone would crash it would tell me its a DirectX Error. Checked dxdiag, nothing. I Also updated Display Drivers, checked Intel Driver Assistant, everything fine. When my Computer would crash because of the Errors (pretty much 70% of the time) I sometimes got dumpfiles I could read out with BlueScreenViewer. The most recent one says 0x00000133 caused by ntoskrnl.exe#41f67e. After following pretty much everything I found on the internet I decided to reset my whole PC. Everything. Downloaded Discord, Spotify and a Game to test. Still wouldn't work. Im completely out of ideas and dont know what do. I hope you can help :) GPU is a GTX 1070 from Zotac.

From what you've described in the opening post there is likely a hardware problem.

See if you can find a friend, neighbor, relative, or local computer store to swap test the GPU card.

Test a new card in the problematic computer.

The GPU card from the problematic computer can also be tested in another computer.

    Hello @swaggerm5

Your train of thoughts for troubleshooting are in the right place.

In this case, I would recommend to return the GPU drivers to latest from the manufacturer site. (since it didn't made a difference to roll back previous versions) then Run a Windows 10 repair:

After that, reinstall DirectX10, 11, and 12 in succession to ensure all libraries are correct: you can find the downlaods here.
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/search.aspx?q=directx

Then disable any customized or overclocking settings for the GPU from BIOS. Sometimes a slight change in voltage, frequency etc... may cause this errors. In some cases motherboards have some Performance or Turbo settings that may automatically change this parameters. I would recommend you to open a post in your motherboard's manufacturer forums, in order to get instructions how to set it to default settings or "flat" settings.

Don't forget to also have installed Windows latest updates.

Last but not least, there is always the chance that something may be wrong with the GPU, for which you can open a post on the manufacturer's forums in order to get instructions from their community on how to test it, etc... Maybe trying the GPU in a different computer?

Hope this helps with your query,
