SharePoint Online list formatting options missing

Hi all,

I seem to have some formatting options missing when I want to use list formatting in SharePoint.
Specifically I am missing the "Format columns" option when I am standing in a modern list.

I this something you have to enable? My release preference is set to "Targeted release for everyone", so if this feature has been rolled out, I would expect to also be present on my tenant at this point.

Any ideas?

Did you get any error messages?

We don't have to enable anything column formatting should be there by default.

1.Please check your permission, you should have at least Contribute permission.

2.You could use "Format columns" option in column settings. You should switch to "Advanced mode" in "Format this column" if you want to use JSON codes.
Click you column > Column settings > Format this column > Advanced mode
